Where to the funds come from?

The majority of our funding comes from our annual Tiger Trot fundraiser.  Money raised at this event not only provides most of the annual PTO budget, but also funds a major gift to the school.  Some of the previous gifts include the track, Makerspace and other technology like the 3D printer, and new sound system.

The remainder of the PTO’s budget comes from PTO membership dues, pizza day lunch sales, Box Tops submissions, event ticket sales and Amazon Smiles contributions.  For more information on funding, see the budget summaries on the PTO home page under “Your Roosevelt PTO”.

How do I get involved?

  • Join the PTO! Membership provides access to theRoosevelt’s Membership Toolkit and weekly PTO Email blasts.  See the membership link on the home page to join after the school year begins. The school principal & PTO will both e-mail information on how to join.
  • Attend PTO meetings held quarterly in the Roosevelt LRC. Meet other PTO parents, find out what events are coming up, what the issues the PTO is addressing, and maybe even meet a guest speaker from the School District or Park Ridge community.
  • Join a committee and/or volunteer to help with a specific event or topic. Sign up at on the “Volunteer at Roosevelt” page or click HERE. Also note that if you don’t want to be on a committee, the PTO always needs parents to volunteer an hour or two on the day of the events to make them run smoothly.
