Fifth Grade Party & Parade

Each year a fabulous committee plans a few extra special activities for our outgoing 5th graders!

The class gift always includes a t-shirt for each 5th grade student and then varies. This gift goes to all 5th graders regardless if they go to the party or not.

The 5th grade party is a ticketed event and varies based on what the committee plans. One parent is required to attend with the student and the tickets pay for the venue/event, entertainment and food.

A traditional at Roosevelt is the 5th grade parade! On the last day of school, 5th grade students wear their t-shirts gifted by the PTO and parade through the halls of Roosevelt. Classes, teachers and staff stand in the hallways and cheer them on as they bid them farewell and good luck. They walk out the south gym ramp to the outside and parents, friends and family are waiting there with “fan fare” – balloons, confetti, etc. as a little celebration.
