Year End Thank You!

While no one expected that we close out the school year like this, we wanted to give many thanks. Thank you to the committee chairs who organized the amazing events, programs and projects. Thank you to all of the volunteers who dedicated their time to make what the PTO does successful. Thank you to Dr. Dwyer, Ms. Sobotka, faculty & staff for your continued support. Thank you to our PTO board for your time, involvement and support keeping everything running in the background. And the biggest thanks to our students for their participation, excitement and joy they bring to all that we do. They are the reason we are all here and do what we do.
We also want to congratulate the 5th grade class for all that they accomplished at Roosevelt and wish each one of them the best of luck at Lincoln Middle School.
We wish everyone a happy, healthy, fun and safe Summer and look forward to what the next school year brings!

Help If Needed

HELP IF NEEDED

Mayor Maloney and the City of Park Ridge have organized a non-emergency help line for anyone in need. If you need anything or are able to volunteer to help, please reach out. Details below:

For all emergencies, call 911! For Park Ridge Care Team assistance call 847-461-9573.
You will be prompted to leave a message which will allow someone from the team to respond to your request as quickly as possible.
Examples of help might include picking up medicine, groceries, etc. The team will be following all best practices being shared by medical authorities. We want to make sure everyone stays safe and healthy. We will be communicating clearly with you during our interactions, so you will have confidence in the person’s name and approximate time when they will be helping.

Join the PTO!

PTO Membership Drive

Happy New Year! We hope you all enjoyed the holidays and are recharged for the 2nd half of the school year. We can’t thank you enough for all your continued support as the PTO would not be successful without you.
For those families and faculty members not already signed up as PTO members, we strongly urge you to become a PTO member and thank you to those who are already members. Not only do you receive our weekly blasts on Sundays and Wednesdays with information as it relates to upcoming weeks, but it also allows you access to the online school directory. You do not need to join to be a part of the directory, but you do need to join as a PTO member in order to view the directory.

For families, the membership cost is $25. The one time $25 fee supports the programs and activities that the PTO provides throughout the school year.

For Roosevelt faculty, the membership is FREE.

To join, you must use a computer (not your smart phone). But once you are registered, you can download the Membership Toolkit app and access all the information from your phone.
To join:
Go to https://rooseveltptoparkridge.membershiptoolkit.com/open_forms
Click on the Register/Login button.
If you already have an account with another organization that uses Membership Toolkit you can use the same email and password to login. You can then proceed to the numbered steps below.
Select “Create Account” and fill in your name, email and password information.
Click “verify my email” and then check your email for a link to complete the process. The link expires in 2 hours. If you do not receive the email, check your spam or junk folders.
Once you have verified your email address, log back in and finish the registration process.
1. Complete the parent/family and student information.
2. Complete the Directory/Publish preferences.
3. Once these forms are complete, you will be presented with forms for PTO membership, volunteer opportunities and ordering tickets for events, etc. when available.
Once the Primary Account is set up, the Primary user can “invite” other email addresses to access his/her account. This allows the Secondary user to have their own login information, but still have
access to the family account.
